GUYS!!! I loved this! The concept was lovely, the solution was wholesome and in brand with the show, the bits of self-awareness of the characters when it came to the dynamics of the game were hilarious, and somehow I really loved the bits of info on the fishes!! Team ReelFriendship obviously worked very hard on this and it paid off, so, congrats!

Oh this was so cute! I haven't watched Tsuritama yet but the writing and art really show the character's personalities! I thought the concept of color-stealing aliens was really cool, and the light-novel format really wrapped it all together!

This was really cute! I loved the mixture of screencaps from the show and art and photos (and Iroh!), and poor kids, having to deal with an alien invasion every year. Luckily, fishing saves the day once again! The global aspect of it was really neat, and I loved the fish facts! Cute and educational.

Can I just say, I really love the way you've used the fish from the outtro/intros (I think?) as backgrounds.

This format was absolutely fantastic, you've all done amazing and done a marvelous job of capturing the show and it's overall feel and translating it into this sequel like game. I can feel how much thought and care has been put into this work and all I can do is gush about it and congratulate you.

I enjoyed every single minute of this, I even played through it with no interruptions, which means a lot to my focus-scattered self (it took me about 10/15 minutes, taking things slow and taking everything in + live reacting).

Ahhh, what a great idea. You captured the essence of Tsuritama - the friendship - in this fic. I thought the use of the actual canon to create another adventure combined with the prompt of colour made for an effective story, plus it was a lot of fun to play.

Parts that stood out for me were the black and white photos showing how bleak things are without colour, and the use of the phone to find out the information on the fishes.

I feel like that's a weird thing to compliment on but I liked how you were able to choose the prettiest fish from each region. It's been a minute since I've seen Tsuritama and this reminded me of why I liked the show so much.

I'm struggling to find a more fitting adjective than delightful for the entire experience of playing this game. The dialogue all felt completely IC, the concept was super creative and felt like it could literally be the plot of a Tsuritama sequel, and the educational fish facts were such a fun touch. I also love the different fishing styles/attitudes of the characters at each location, and Natsuki ofc being the fishing nerd with the fish info on his phone. And I love the alien guy design??? I literally had to stop and think if he was an actual character from the show because he fit the aesthetic so much, I love him.

Also Iroh = best cameo, how does Enoshima Island get to have so many warm and helpful grandparent figures??

Congrats on all the amazing hard work of art, coding, writing, and researching that must have gone into this--the end product was a joy to play through. ^^ I'm so glad Tsuritama made it to SportsFest this year so we could experience this!!

I'm not overly familiar with Tsuritama (yet, I'm still watching!) but from what I do know, you did a great job emulating the tone of the show. I know absolutely nothing about this show, but failure alien friend who happens to have a spaceship totally cracked me, and I love that you made "fishing" the mechanic here from the actual show. Oh gosh, so cute. There's obviously a lot of care that went into this entry! I liked all the repeating head motifs because it made me feel like I was really playing an alien-invasion fishing RPG, and I like that each boy got a different part of the world to save. A GAME! I must confess I have no idea how to put something like this together so I am in awe of all your skills. Enjoyed the touches of humor throughout and how you easily incorporated the characters with all the backgrounds especially against the photos. I thought using the black and white photos that turn to color after the fish were caught was a wonderful way to interpret the theme. tsuritama is an anime i've come to know & watch because of sportsfest, and honestly I have no regrets about this. the themes of friendship, belief, coming of age, the simple yet meaningful pleasures in life,,,, i think you've captured these feelings beautifully in your entry!!!

i loved how the entry was set to be in-canon, i went *yes omg give me more of these wonderful boys*!! i think y'all really went the extra mile in removing colour from the photos/art and bringing them back once the world was yet again saved by these boys & through the power of fishing!!! the various locations to choose from were also an excitable treat that i enjoyed greatly!!!

your hardwork and love for this series & these characters really shined through, and i hope you are all proud of what you've created because it is absolutely wonderful!!!!

This was truly amazing!!! I love game format and you guys nailed it, from start to finish. The exposition, the threat, the choices to retrieve the colors, and finally a good ending. From what I remember of Tsuritama, the mood is exactly the same kind of funny, strange but endearing. The art was effective and cute, I liked the addition of photos to show how the world's colors are restored.

All your efforts put into research is incredible!! It's nice how each fish's data was actually shown as research haha

Story: What an interesting take on the theme! I wasn’t expecting that take on it but it was really creative! I also loved the inclusion of real fish facts in the story.

Gameplay: I thought it was cute to have the story set up as an interactive game, it definitely game your story it’s own feel.

I love the concept and execution – and in particular, the art style was really lovely. The character introductions at the beginning were wonderfully distinct and textured, and the camaraderie between the MCs was great! I haven't watched the show, but the premise sounds intriguing and I really enjoyed getting to know the world through this – I might have to now! :)
